ABOUT THE ROLE
In this position, you will empower and motivate our residents and participants to achieve their personal goals and gain greater independence, which will support them in reintegrating into the community. You will provide tailored support to the individuals needs through a recovery model. In the role, you will provide a flexible service which is responsive to individual needs, and to meet the needs of our commissioners and other stakeholders.
Rota: You will work 22.5 hours a week, ideally over 3 days a week, shift patterns can vary.
ABOUT THE SERVICE
Penrose Jigsaw Service is a forensic mental health service. We work in partnership with South London and Maudsley NHS Trust (SLaM).
Jigsaw Service provides support to residents and participants (males and females) with a formal diagnosis of severe and enduring mental disorder, offending history and other complex needs. It is targeted at high risk service users referred by the Lewisham Community Mental Health Team.
We provide intensive accommodation based support (six flats) and floating support (Dispersed flats) to meet the complex and challenging needs of residents and participants. Successful integration back into the community and sustained quality of life is our underlying principles driven by a recovery model whereby Clients are able to live, work, learn and participate fully in their community through interactive and preventative approaches.
