ABOUT THE ROLE
This is a new opportunity for a Payroll and Pensions Administrator to join the payroll team! You will work closely with the Payroll and Pensions Manager, to work to ensure our valuable resource (our staff) are paid efficiently and accurately, on time. You will utilise the tools and resources available to ensure we meet the needs of all our stakeholders and comply with legal matters. You will support with the preparation and processing of monthly payroll for all employees within Social Interest Group (SIG). You will co-ordinate effective and efficient end-to-end payroll and pensions administration, plus any additional relevant activity, ensuring a cost-effective and efficient service.
ABOUT OUR TEAM
The Payroll and Pensions team is currently the Payroll and Pensions Manager, who you will be reporting into. This is a new role in the organisation and you will work as part of the wider People and Culture team which includes the Generalist team, Talent Acquisition team, Workforce Development, and Talent Development team.
As a team we all have our strengths, have individual qualities and interests, we all come together as a team when times can be busy or stressful and work well in supporting each other. We value each others input and no voice goes unheard! We have our collaboration day in the office on a Monday, and Friday's we have P&C time where we wind down at the end of the week with a different activity and team session!
Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 9 - 5. Mondays in central office, one or more days in our services, with work from home on the remaining days in the week.
Location: We are based a 10 minute walk from Highbury and Islington station, Angel station is a 15 minute walk away

We are looking for someone who is methodical and intuitive, with a detail oriented outlook to tasks, with the ability to take ownership of projects and workflows, using your skills, knowledge and materials to provide an excellent service. We are looking for someone who can work in a fast paced environment, able to work with conflicting priorities, whilst maintaining a high level professional service.
