ABOUT THE ROLE
HerStory House is dedicated to empowering women with the skills needed to thrive in their chosen communities, maintain independence, and build a hopeful future. Our specialised, high-support, female-only residential service is tailored for women who are likely to meet the criteria for a personality disorder diagnosis and are at risk of entering or re-entering the Criminal Justice System. As a Deputy Manager, you will work closely with the Service Manager (SM) to uphold the highest standards of service quality, performance, and continuous improvement across your designated service(s). Your role will involve ensuring full compliance with contract and regulatory requirements and assisting the Service Manager in implementing and delivering effective service monitoring and development.
You will have direct line management responsibility for the frontline care and support staff in your service, who provide housing-related support to individuals facing various difficulties and circumstances. Additionally, you will collaborate with community partners and stakeholders to ensure that the needs and objectives of the service are met. As part of a team, you will provide effective outreach support to vulnerable adults, helping with tenancy sustainment, promoting independent living, and encouraging self-reliance.
Shift/Working pattern: 37.5 hours Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm. You may also be required to work outside these hours as per the service requirements and needs. You will also take part in our on call service.
