ABOUT THE ROLE
We are seeking a dedicated Housing Navigator to join our team in Brent. You will provide intensive housing management support to our participants who are or at high risk of homeless and require additional support with sustaining their tenancy. You will be liaising closely with partner charities who specialise in housing support.
As a Housing Navigator, you will provide personalised, trauma-informed support to aid recovery, rehabilitation, and reablement in a psychologically informed environment (PIE). You will work closely with residents, managing a caseload that may include complex housing management issues, and collaborate with community partners to achieve positive outcomes. This role requires a compassionate and proactive individual who can thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while maintaining the highest standards of service delivery.

Rota: 37.5 Hours per week, 08.00am - 16.00pm, 09.00am - 17.00pm or 10.00am - 18.00pm, Monday to Friday 1 day from the office, 1 day at the Brent Hubs and 3 days visiting participants in their home or community settings in and around Brent.

Synergy, Brent is a Housing Related Support (HRS) Service for a range of vulnerable people who have been or are at risk of homelessness. The age eligibility criteria for the service is adults between the ages of 18 to 60, who are identified to have low/medium support needs. Some of the needs we support are:

We’re looking for an individual who is driven to provide high quality care and support to others, ideally with previous experience in providing housing support. You will be someone who thrives on working in a team, but can also make individual judgements in a proactive manner. You will be confident in working in the given setting and can be compassionate, supportive, and empowering to others with the ability to form effective, positive, and motivational relationships! We work alongside various partners and stakeholders so we are looking for a Support Worker who can adapt and work well alongside other teams.
