Deputy Manager - Internal Only

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a dedicated Deputy Service Manager to join our team at Penrose Drive. This role is ideal for someone passionate about delivering high-quality, trauma-informed services focused on recovery, reablement, and rehabilitation within a psychologically informed environment (PIE).

Penrose Drive IAP: Supports high-risk offenders supervised by the Probation Service, housing up to 25 men. The service ensures public protection through 24/7 staffing, curfews, and a programme addressing offending behaviour and risk reduction.  

Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00, 08:00 - 16:00 and 14:00 - 22:00. You may be required to work to service requirements , all managers, including this position will take part in the out of hours on call duty. Working from home possible two days per month with approval of Service Manager.

Salary: £33,200

What are we looking for?

  • Direct experience working in a Health and Social Care environment or similar, Or Appropriate
  • NVQ/Diploma Level 3 in Management/Health and Social Care
  • Experience of working with and engaging with diverse groups of people from varying backgrounds
  • Understanding and/or experience of working with people of complex backgrounds, ex-offenders, mental health, substance misuse, challenging behaviours
  • IT Proficiency, including Microsoft Office, and the ability to navigate and learn new case management systems and other types of organisational software
