Job Title: Night Concierge
Location: This residential site, located in Brighton, benefits from great transport links, with Hove Station and several local bus routes nearby. Kindly be aware that step free access is not available at this service.
Salary: £24,570
Shift Pattern: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Sunday, shifts are overnight ranging between 21:30-08:30 and 19:30-08:30 on a rolling 4 on, 4 off rota, which may mean weekly hours vary slightly. You will be required to work weekends and bank holidays as part of a rota, in line with the needs of the service.
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We’re looking for a calm, reliable and friendly Night Concierge to join our supported team. You’ll help create a safe, welcoming and well run environment overnight, offering reassurance and practical support to residents when they need it most. This service is a safe and supportive home for women who’ve experienced homelessness. We work with women with a range of supporting needs from complex and high level to more moderate or low level including help around mental health, substance use, domestic abuse and past offending.
This role is key to ensuring our services remain secure and responsive throughout the night. You’ll carry out regular safety checks, monitor access, respond to emergencies, and provide helpful handovers to the day team. You’ll also support residents with any queries, maintain clear records, and help keep the environment clean and safe. The role includes:
