Job Title: Training Facilitator
Location: Our central office is in Islington, a 10 minute walk from Highbury & Islington station. Hybrid role with at least two days in the office or at services. Step free access is not available at all locations.
Salary: £30,900
Shift Pattern: 12 month fixed term contract, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:00. You may be required to work outside these hours and days as required.
About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Training Facilitator to join our Talent Development team at SIG! You’ll plan and deliver practical, engaging training sessions for staff, residents, participants, and external partners, both in person and online. Key topics include de escalation, conflict management, team building, grief and bereavement, housing/independent living, employability, confidence, self esteem, and resilience.
In this role, you'll:
- Manage the full training cycle from planning and delivery to record keeping and administration.
- Understand the needs of care staff and create positive learning experiences.
- Make content practical and engaging, promoting inclusivity and safeguarding.
- Adapt delivery to suit learners from diverse backgrounds, addressing skills gaps and acting on feedback.
- Deliver training across various locations, including London and other UK sites.
About you
We are looking for an enthusiastic and confident trainer to support the development and delivery of practical, engaging training across our organisation. You will be proactive, passionate about continuous learning, and able to deliver training tailored to all stakeholders.
You should have:
- Relevant experience in a similar organisation and training role.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and training schedules in a fast paced environment.
- Knowledge of Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion, and the ability to share best practice.
- Sensitivity and professionalism when supporting individuals with different needs.
- Understanding of different cultures, self awareness, and openness to feedback for personal growth.
- Ability to create a safe and open learning environment.
- Skills to turn theory into practical, applied learning.
- IT proficiency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and the ability to learn new software.
